THE Board Chairperson of Mhlathuze Water, Ms Thabi Shange and the Chief Executive, Mr Mthokozisi Duze will on Tuesday, 10 November 2020 brief the media on key organisational developments, including giving an account on the water utility’s performance for the 2019/2020 financial period.

The briefing will also give an update on progress made to date on Mhlathuze Water’s turnaround efforts since the appointment of the Board and the Chief Executive in 2018 and 2019 respectively. 

As one of the two water boards in the Province, Mhlathuze Water plays an important role in the provision of bulk water and wastewater to major industries and communities in the northern reaches of the Province which makes it a vital cog in the socio-economic development goals of KwaZulu-Natal.
