Rand Water has scheduled the planned maintenance work at Vereeniging Water Treatment Plant and Weltevreden to execute the following work:

1) Tie-in the newly installed F46 pipeline to the existing F34 pipeline.
2) Installation of a new non-return valve on the pump-set 20 at Vereeniging Water Treatment Plant.

Subsequent to our Media Statement dated 22 May 2022, City Power – the electrical entity of City of Johannesburg, has approached Rand Water with a request for an isolation and maintenance of their electrical systems which feed Rand Water’s Eikenhof pump station.
