IFP: IEC Confirms IFP Party Lists Contain Leaders Of Integrity

The IFP is pleased to note the IEC’s announcement today that it has received no objections to any of the names of IFP leaders who have been nominated to serve in the National Assembly or Provincial Parliaments nationwide. No complaints were launched against the IFP’s lists.

The IEC announced today that it received more than 70 objections to election candidates, predominantly from the lists of the ANC, DA, EFF and BLF.

Today’s announcement is proof that the IFP, South Africa’s fourth largest party, is the only party that is presenting the electorate with leaders of integrity to serve them post May 8.

The IFP is confident that our lists are representative of the South African public at large, with multi-generational leaders who are honest, hard-working, trustworthy and fit for purpose.

We note that the IEC has dismissed the objections against most parties. But we call on the electorate to reject anyone who has stolen money from the public purse, who is a fraud or a gangster, or whose only ambition is to serve their own interests or the interests of their political organisation, instead of the nation as a whole.

We call on South Africans to trust the IFP come May 8 and to chose leaders of integrity to represent them during a time when South Africa is facing an education, healthcare, crime and economic crisis.
