I, Bonginkosi Emanuel Nzimande, MP, Minister of Higher Education and Training, in terms of section 20 of the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Act 101 of 1997), and after consulting with the Council on Higher Education, hereby establish the Sol Plaatje University in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province.
