Gauteng Community Safety showcases a theatre production on gender based violence

The Gauteng Department of Community Safety will this afternoon showcase a theatre production themed “#Hear Me Too” as part of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign.
 
Produced by well-known actor, Meshack Mavuso, the production features, amongst others, actresses such as Madolfy Mphanga who plays Fezi, Morongwa Magwaza who plays Lulu and Zodwa Nkosi who plays Maurine. The production focuses on the rights of women and children, gender based violence, in all forms which devalue the human dignity and self-worth of the victim of abuse.
 
The theatre production is expected to be attended by the Gauteng MEC for Community Safety Sizakele Nkosi Malobane, representatives of various Law Enforcement Agencies and civil society.
