DEPUTY MINISTER IN THE PRESIDENCY, THEMBI SIWEYA TO UNVEIL A BRAND NEW STATE OF THE ART BROADCAST STUDIOS AT RADIO 7441 FM

The Media Development & Diversity Agency (MDDA), led by the Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Ms Thembi Siweya, will unveil a brand new state-of-the-art broadcast studios at Radio 7441 on Saturday 13 November 2021 in Western Cape  Province.  

Radio 7441 FM is a community broadcast radio station registered in 2014 but only went on air in 2019. It is based in Malmesbury in the Western Cape under the West Coast Municipality. 

The station currently covers the areas of West Coast and Table View (60 kilometres between the two municipalities). Malmesbury is a developing area with a population of more than 133 762. Radio 7441 is a 24/7 radio station and one of the second radio stations in Western Cape that broadcast in IsiXhosa with 80 % and 20 %  English.

The new state-of the art studios will elevate the quality of broadcasting, making it appealing to potential partners and propel Radio 7441 FM to even greater heights.

 

The unveiling of State-of-the-Art Studios is scheduled as follows:
