The DA in Drakenstein welcomes the opening of a new homeless shelter in Voor Street, Wellington.

The shelter offers overnight facilities for 48 people and provides a warm and safe place to sleep for homeless citizens in and around the area.

This initiative by the Drakenstein Municipality is not only testament to good governance, but it shows that DA-run governments care for the most vulnerable in our communities and work hard to give them the dignity they deserve.

We wish to thank the Drakenstein Municipality and all role players involved for this heartwarming project.
