Today, Friday 30 November 2018, DA Team One SA members on State Capture and Access to Jobs, Natasha Mazzone and Geordin Hill-Lewis and the DA Mpumalanga Premier Candidate, Jane Sithole, will be inspecting Optimum Mine and engage with the Pullens Hope community to see first-hand the effects of state capture.

The Team will be engaging with mine workers and community members who haven’t received salaries for two months. This mine was captured by the Guptas with the help of failing ANC government officials and is currently in business rescue, which is putting jobs and coal delivery to Eskom at risk.
