DA in Tshwane congratulates Centurion Hero Alderman Peter Sutton

The Democratic Alliances (DA) congratulates Alderman Peter Sutton, councillor for ward 78 of the City of Tshwane, for winning the award of “Centurion Hero” by Rekord newspaper.

The accolade is awarded to Centurion residents who make an outsized contribution to the community, and we are delighted that the September winner is one of our own councillors.

Ward 78, which Sutton represents in the municipal council, includes Bronberrik, Cranbrookvale, Clubview South, Hennopspark Industrial, Zwartkop and Centurion CBD.

Sutton has done ground-breaking work on the project to fix the Centurion Lake as well as to resolve traffic problems in the Centurion CBD.

As chairperson of the oversight committee on finance in the municipal council, his priority is ensuring accountability for the spending of ratepayers’ money.

In short, Sutton gets things done, and that is why he will again be the DA candidate to represent the residents of ward 78 in the Tshwane metro council.

We look forward to seeing the progress of his work in years to come.
