The Democratic Alliance (DA) is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Her Majesty Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu.

Queen Dlamini Zulu had only recently been elected as Regent, during a three month mourning period, before an official successor was to be named. This after the death of her husband, His Majesty King Goodwill kaBhekuzulu on 12 March.

The DA extends its heartfelt condolences to the Royal family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this sad and tragic time. We also extending our sincere condolences to the Zulu Nation as a whole during this time of immense loss.
