The Democratic Alliance (DA) in the Eastern Cape wishes to congratulate Cllr Rano Kayser after his election as new leader of its Nelson Mandela Bay Caucus. 

Cllr Kayser, a former member of the NMB Mayoral Committee for Roads and Transport, served as acting caucus leader and has been a public representative since 2011. He brings a wealth of institutional experience with him that will assist in steering the caucus in the right direction.

We are convinced that the caucus, under the leadership of Cllr Kayser, will prove to be an even more effective opposition to the ANC-led Coalition of Chaos in council, and will continue to fight for the rights of the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay.
