Communist Party of Swaziland in solidarity with the people of Zimbabwe on the Zimbabwe Global Solidarity Day

The Communist Party of Swaziland (CPS) stands in solidarity with the people of Zimbabwe on the Zimbabwe Global Solidarity Day – on Wednesday 23 September 2020 – called for by the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions. The Zimbabwe Global Solidarity Day is an important day for the working class across the world to engage in more focused intensive action in defence of the working class and peasants of Zimbabwe in their various demands.

The CPS also stands in solidarity with the Zimbabwe Communist Party (ZCP) in its efforts to unite the working class of that country and in its fight for socialism. The ZCP’s work in uniting the people of Zimbabwe, as well as to the working-class global fight for socialism, is vital. The CPS thus supports the demands that have been raised by the ZCP: End corruption and looting; End State brutality against the people of Zimbabwe; No to US$3.5 billion compensation to former White farmers; Pay workers a Living Wage; Restore dignity in Zimbabwe’s Health Care and Education.

The CPS calls upon the working class in Swaziland, in the African continent and around the world to raise their voices in support for the Zimbabwean working class, and for the condemnation of imperialism as well as the local looting class.

Workers of the World, Unite!
