The African Transformation Movement (ATM) is the coming together of African Indigenous Churches, kingdoms and ordinary South Africans to transform South Africa for a better tomorrow. As much as the party was inspired by spiritual leaders, it is in no way an extension of the church. Our value-driven leadership is the foundation of building and creating a new and responsible character to serve and lead all South Africans.

We pride ourselves in the following values of: (a) Peace; (b) Ubuntu; (c) Transformation (African); (d) Servant Leadership; and (e) Accountability.

We have a strong belief that in the spirit of these values, we will work tirelessly to ensure the socio-economic development of this country directly respond to the challenges of all South Africans; especially the disadvantaged majority. It is for this we reason we chant and promise to PUT South Africans 1st in all our dealings.

The welcoming of Ms. Marawu, Mr. Tswete & Dr. Nkomfa also confirms; once again, that the ATM was birthed by the people for the need of a better tomorrow. We can’t stress this enough; in nature, the ATM is a creation of the South African civic society as we are a make-up of African Indigenous Churches, kingdoms and ordinary citizens. In other words, our new servant is right at home where he belongs with a civic formation like ours.

1. Ms. Thandiswa Marawu was serving as the ANC MEC of Roads & Transport in the Eastern Cape Province and had been a member of the African National Congress for a long time.

2. Mr. Tshwete was serving in the Democratic Alliance in the City of Cape Town. Mr. Tshwete comes from a long line of fighters who fought for freedom in South Africa.

3. Dr. Nkomfa served in the Drakenstein Municipality as PR Councillor and has been very active the liberation of all those that have been disadvantaged.
 

We are certain of the future the African Transformation Movement has in the political landscape of South African and we are certain of victory come 9 May 2019. ATM is the future; there is no better time to be in the future than now. ATM is available in all 9 provinces and is good and ready to contest the upcoming elections with an aim to win with a majority vote.
