Arthur Fraser provides Hawks with more evidence in Ramaphosa farm theft

President Cyril Ramaphosa

Former spy boss turned apparent whistleblower Arthur Fraser has met with the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (the Hawks) to provide more information on the theft that took place on President Cyril Ramaphosa’s farm in Limpopo in 2020.

Details of the new information he has furnished to the Hawks have not been revealed.

Ramaphosa is facing heavy criticism for not reporting the alleged theft of large sums of foreign currency.

Fraser, also known to be a staunch supporter of former President Jacob Zuma, has also opened a case against Ramaphosa for allegedly contravening the Code of Ethics.

Fraser authorised Zuma’s parole following the former President’s arrest, which is widely believed to have been the spark in the looting and death across KwaZulu-Natal and parts of Gauteng earlier this year.

Fraser said he appreciated the level of professionalism and speed at which the Hawks had responded to the matter.
