The African National Congress (ANC) salutes the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the occasion of its centenary celebrations.

The ANC shares a deep bond of friendship with the CPC as well as solidarity with the people of China. As the ANC, we place value the party-to-party relations we have developed over many years with the Communist Party of China.

Inspired by the Communist Party of China, the ANC constantly seeks to improve its capacity and capability to lead a united society.

The Communist Party of China is an inspiration to the ANC as we continue on our long journey of building an ethical ANC that acts decisively and uncompromisingly against corruption.

The Chinese path of development is a lesson and an inspiration to all developing countries. China was able to emerge from imperialism and colonialism to become the second largest economy in the world.

As the Communist Party of China enters its second centenary, we are confident that it will continue to steer China into becoming a builder of world peace, a contributor to global development and a defender of a just, equitable and humane international order.

As the Party marks its 100 years of revolutionary resilience, we commit to continue strengthening our relations, knowing that ours is a shared destiny.
