On Tuesday, 15 June 2021, ActionSA will unveil its Mayoral Candidates contesting in its ground-breaking Candidate Election System for the metros of Johannesburg, Tshwane and Ekurhuleni.

For the first time, South Africans will have the power to directly elect the candidates they want to represent ActionSA on the ballot paper in the upcoming Local Government Elections – putting power in the hands of communities who, otherwise, would give their votes to political parties and be given ineffective candidates in return.

The candidates, who have emerged through our transparent candidate nomination process, are proud South Africans from all works of life, who are committed to fighting for the wellbeing of residents in their cities. 

In the lead-up to the elections, these men and women will work to bring about change for residents in their cities and deliver quality services.
