SOUTH AFRICAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY
WITHDRAWAL OF DESIGNATION OF THE AERO CLUB OF SOUTH AFRICA
I, Wrenelle Stander, in my capacity as Acting Commissioner for Civil Aviation, hereby give notice that the designation of the Aero Club of South Africa to exercise the powers and perform the duties referred to in regulation 149.01.2(1) of the Civil Aviation Regulations 1997, which designation has been in effect since 1 April 2000, has been withdrawn with effect from 29 January 2001.
As of 29 January 2001, the relevant powers exercised and duties performed by the Aero Club, up until the withdrawal of the designation, will be assumed by the Civil Aviation Authority.
