NATIONAL ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1996 (ACT NO. 93 of 1996)

DETERMINATION of AMOUNT PAYABLE TO INSPECTORATE of MANUFACTURERS, BUILDERS AND IMPORTERS UNDER REGULATION 45 of THE NATIONAL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

I, Abdulah Mohamed Omar, Minister of Transport, acting under regulation 45 of the National Road Traffic Regulations published by Government Notice No. R. 225 of 17 March 2000 ( hereafter referred to as "the Regulations "), herby determine that from 1 August 200-

1. the amount payable to the inspectorate of manufacturers, builders and importers by a manufacturer, builder or importer upon registration, and thereafter that is payable yearly upon the anniversary of the date of registration, is R800; and
2. the amount payable to the inspectorate of manufacturers, builders and importers by a manufacturer, builder and importer not required to be registered in terms of the Regulations, is R1 800 per motor vehicle design or design of motor vehicle modification.
