MARKETING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS ACT, 1996 (ACT No. 47 OF 1996)

AMENDMENT OF STATUTORY MEASURE: LEVY RELATING TO WHEAT, DURUM WHEAT, BARLEY AND OATS

I, Angela Thokozile Didiza, Minister of Agriculture, acting under section 13 and 15 of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996 (Act No. 47 of 1996), hereby amend the statutory measure published by Government Notice No. R. 1167 of 18 September 1998 to the extent set out in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE

Definition

  1. In this Schedule any word or expression to which a meaning has been assigned in the Notice shall have that meaning, and "the Notice" means Government Notice No. R. 1167 of 18 September 1998.

Amendment of clause 1 of the Notice

  1. Clause 1 of the Notice is hereby amended by the substitution for the definition for "the Trust" of the following definition: "The Trust" means the Winter Cereal Trust, Registration No. 11410/97".

Amendment Of clause 8 of the Notice

  1. Clause 8 of the Notice is hereby amended by-
  1. the substitution for the expression "15th day" where it appears in subclause (1) of the expression "last day"; and
  2. the substitution of the expression of the "Winter Cereal General Trust" where it appears in subclause (2) and (3) of the expression "Winter Cereal Trust"
