DESIGNATION OF BODIES OR INSTITUTIONS IN TERMS OF PART 149 OF THE CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS, 1997
I, Trevor Abrahams, in my capacity as Commissioner for Civil Aviation, have designated the Aero Club of South Africa, the National Co-ordinating Body for Sport Aviation in the Republic of South Africa, in writing in terms of regulation 183.001(b) read with regulation. 149.01.2 of the Civil Aviation Regulations, 1997, promulgated in terms of section 22(1) of the Aviation Act, 1962 (Act No 74 of 1962), to perform and exercise the duties and powers contained in regulation 149.01.2(1) of the said Regulations as from I April 2000 until further notice.
