INTO OPERATION OF THE TRADE SPRAYPAINTER, AS PUBLISHED IN GOVERNMENT NOTICE No. R. 959 OF
14 JUNE 1996: CONDITIONS OF APPRENTICESHIP
I, Membathisi Mphumzi Shepherd Mdladlana, Minister of Labour, acting in
terms of section 13 of the Manpower Training Act, 1981, hereby determine that—
- the trade "Spraypainter~ in the Motor Industry in the Republic of
South Africa will come into operation, with effect from the date of publication of this
notice;
- the conditions of apprenticeship referred to above shall only be
applicable to apprentices entering into a contract of apprenticeship in the trade referred
to in paragraph (a) of this notice on or after the implementation date; and
- the provisions as contained in paragraph 1 (c) of Government Nolice No.
R. 959 of 14 June 1996 shall only apply to contracts of apprenticeship.
