CUSTOMS AND EXCISE ACT, 1964

AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE No. 1 (No. 1/2/112)

Under section 48 of the Customs and Excise Act, 1964—

  1. Part 2B of Schedule No. 1 to the said Act is hereby amended to the extent set out in the Schedule hereto;
  2. this amendment, in so far as it relates to items 126.15 and 126.20, shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12 March 1998; and
  3. this amendment, in so far as it relates to the withdrawal of the duty on the goods falling within subheading No. 8525.30 as provided for in item 124.66, shall be deemed to have come into operation on 12 March 1998.
