AVIATION ACT, 1962 (ACT No. 74 OF 1962)

AMENDMENT OF THE CIVIL AVIATION REGULATIONS

The Minister of Transport had under section 22 of the Aviation Act, 1962 (Act No. 74 of 1962), made the regulations in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE

Definition

  1. In this Schedule The Regulations" means the Civil Aviation Regulations, published by Government Notice Nos. R.1219 of 26 September 1997 and R. 1255 of 17 October 1997, as amended by Government Notice R. 1735 of 24 December 1997.

Amendment of Part 141 of the Regulations

  1. Part 141 of the Regulations is amended by the addition of the following subregulations:

"Commencement

141.03.8 This Part comes into operation on 1 October 1998.
141.03.9 An Organisation that wishes to conduct standard aviation training shall within three months, after this Part came into operation, comply with all the requirements of this Part.".

Short title

  1. These regulations are called the Third Amendment of the Civil Aviation Regulations, 1997.
