SOUTH AFRICAN MARITIME SAFETY AUTHORITY ACT, 1998 (ACT No. 5 OF 1998)

Under section 2 (2) of the South African Maritime Safety Authority Act, 1998 (Act No. 5 of 1998), I, Sathyandranath R. Maharaj, Minister of Transport, hereby determine 1 April 1998 as the date on which the administration of the laws mentioned in the first column of the Schedule to the said Act is transferred to the Authority, subject to the amendments (if any) contained in the third column of the Schedule.
