PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
COMMENCEMENT OF THE NATIONAL RAILWAY SAFETY REGULATOR ACT, 2002 (ACT No. 16 of 2002)
In terms of section 61 of the National Railway Safety Regulator Act, 2002 (Act No. 16 of 2002), I hereby determine the 20 September 2002 as the date on which the said Act shall come into operation, except for the following provisions: Chapter 3: Section T(1)(b). Chapter 4: Section 22 will come into operation on 1 April 2004. Chapter 12: Section 54 will come into operation on 1 April 2004.
