by the President of the Republic of South Africa
DECLARATION OF THE HEAVY SNOW AND RAIN THAT OCCURRED IN THE PROVINCE OF THE EASTERN CAPE TO BE A DISASTER
Under the powers vested in me by Section 26 of the Fund-Raising Act, 1978 (Act No. 107 of 1978), I hereby declare the heavy snow and rain that occurred in the Province of the Eastern Cape and caused severe damage and loss on the 18th July 2002 in the Magisterial Districts of Cala, Ugie, Elliot, Indwe and Barkley East to be a disaster for the purposes of this Act.
