PROCLAMATION

by the President of the Republic of South Africa

COMMENCEMENT OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE NATIONAL LAND TRANSPORT TRANSITION ACT, 2000 (ACT NO. 22 OF 2000)

In terms of section 136 of the National Land Transport Transition Act, 2000 (Act No. 22 of 2000), I hereby determine 1 June 2002 as the date on which the following provisions of the said Act shall come into operation:

• Part 4: section 9(4)
• Part 5: section 10(13)(a)
• Part 7: the whole (sections 18 to 29 inclusive)
• Part 13: section 63(1)(f)
• Part 19: section 133.
