by the Acting President of the Republic of South Africa

NATIONAL PROSECUTING AUTHORITY ACT, 1998

Determination of Powers, Duties and Functions of a Special Director of Public Prosecutions

Under section 13(1)(c) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act No. 32 of 1998), 1 hereby confer, impose and assign the following powers, duties and functions on or to Adv Juliana Galetlale Ouma Rabaji, a Special Director of Public Prosecutions, appointed in terms of the said provision:

To exercise the powers, carry out the duties and perform the functions necessary, within the Office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions, for the management and operation of the Asset Forfeiture Unit, including the institution of forfeiture proceedings and the co-ordination of the management of assets subject to restrain orders as well as generally giving such advice or rendering such assistance to the National Director as may be. required to exercise the powers, carry out the duties and perform the functions which are conferred, imposed on or assigned to him by the Constitution, the said Act, the Prevention of Organised Crime Act, 1998(Act No. 121 of 1998), or any other law.
