PROCLAMATION

by the President of the Republic of South Africa

COMMENCEMENT OF THE FINANCIAL INTELLIGENCE CENTRE ACT, 2001 (ACT No. 38 OF 2001)

In terms of Section 82 of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (Act No. 38 of 2001), I hereby determine 1 March 2002 as the date on which the following Schedules of the said Act shall come into operation:

• Schedule 1-List of Accountable Institutions;
• Schedule 2-List of Supervisory Bodies; and
• Schedule 3-List of Reporting Institutions.
