PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
ASSIGNMENT OF THE PROVINCIAL CAPITAL ORDINANCE, 1962 (ORDINANCE NO. 3 OF 1962) OF THE FORMER PROVINCE OF THE CAPE OF GOOD HOPE, TO THE PROVINCES OF THE EASTERN CAPE, WESTERN CAPE AND NORTHERN CAPE
Under item 14(1) of Schedule 6 to the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), I hereby assign the Provincial Capital Fund Ordinance, 1962 (Ordinance No. 3 of 1962) of the former Province of the Cape of Good Hope, to an authority within a provincial executive designated by the Executive Council of the provinces of the Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Western Cape in so far as it is applicable in those respective provinces.
