PROCLAMATION

by the President of the Republic of South Africa

In terms of section 97 of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act No. 108 of 1996), I hereby, with effect from 19 October 2001-

1. transfer the administration of the National Development Agency Act, 1998 (Act No. 108 of 1998) ("the Act'), from the Minister of Finance to the Minister of Social Development; and
2. transfer any power or function entrusted to the Minister, as defined in section 1 of the Act, to the Minister of Social Development.
