DECLARATION OF THE FIRE THAT OCCURRED IN THE JOE SLOVO INFORMAL SETTLEMENT IN CAPE TOWN TO BE A DISASTER

Under the powers vested in me by Section 26 of the Fund-raising Act, 1978 (Act No. 107 of 1978), I hereby, declare the fire that occurred on 26 November 2000 in the Joe Slovo Informal Settlement in Cape Town to be a disaster for the purposes of this Act.
