by the President of the Republic of South Africa
COMMENCEMENT OF SECTIONS 1, 2, 3, 4(2), 5, 6, 29 [WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SUBSECTIONS (2)], 32, 33, AND 34(1) OF THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND PREVENTION OF UNFAIR DISCRIMINATION ACT, 2000 (ACT No. 4 of 2000)
Under section 35 of the Promotion of Unfair Discrimination Act, 2000 (Act No. 4 of 2000), I hereby fix 1 September 2000 as the date on which sections 1, 2, 3, 4(2), 5, 6, 29 [with the exception of subsections (2)], 32, 33, and 34(1) of the said Act shall come into operation.
