PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
EXTENSION OF THE PERIOD OF OPERATION OF SECTIONS 51 AND 52 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW AMENDMENT ACT, 1997 (ACT No. 105 OF 1997)
Under section 53 (2) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act, 1997 (Act No. 105 of 1997), I hereby extend the period of operation of sections 51 and 52 of the said Act for a period of 12 months with effect from 1 May 2000.
