PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
DECLARATION OF THE FLOODS THAT OCCURRED IN THE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICTS OF DURBAN AND PINETOWN INCLUDING THE SURROUNDING AREAS OF INANDA, KWAMASHU AND CHATSWORTH
Under the powers vested in me by section 26 of the Fund-Raising Act, No. 107 of 1978, I, hereby declare the floods that occurred on the 21-22 December 1999 in the Magisterial Districts of Durban and Pinetown including the surrounding areas of Chatsworth, Inanda and kwaMashu to be a disaster for the purposes of this Act.
