PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
DECLARATION OF THE TORNADO IN MAINLY AREAS OF MANNENBERG, GUGULETU, KTC, LUSAKA, TAMBO VILLAGE, TAMBO SQUARE AND SURREY ESTATE IN THE JURISDICTION OF THE LOCAL COUNCIL OF CAPE TOWN MUNICIPALITY TO BE A DISASTER
Under the powers vested in me by Section 26 of the Fund-raising Act, 1978 (Act No. 107 of 1978),I hereby, declare the tornado that occured on 29 August 1999 in mainly areas of Mannenberg, Guguietu, KTC, Lusaka, Tambo Village, Tambo Square and Surrey Estate in the jurisdiction of the Local Council of Cape Town Municipalty to be a disaster for the purposes of this Act.
