PROCLAMATION

by the President of the Republic of South Africa

AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 1 OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT, 1994 (PROCLAMATION No. 103 OF 1994)

Under the powers vested in me by section 7 (5) of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Proclamation No. 103 of 1994), I hereby amend, in accordance with the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, Schedule I of the said Act, with effect from 17 June 1999, by substituting the words "Office of the President" and "Director-General: Office of the President" for the words "Office of the Presidency" and "Director-General: Office of the Presidency" and the deletion of the words "Office of the Executive Deputy President" and "Director-General: Office of the Executive Deputy President" in columns I and II of Schedule I, respectively.
