PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
NATIONAL PROSECUTING AUTHORITY ACT, 1998
DETERMINATION OF POWERS, DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS OF SPECIAL DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC PROSECUTIONS
Under section 13 (1) (c) of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, 1998 (Act No. 32 of 1998),1 hereby confer, impose and assign the following powers, duties and functions on or to Advocate D. J. Rossouw SC, a Special Director of Public Prosecutions, appointed in terms of the said provision:
To exercise the powers, carry out the duties and perform the functions necessary for the establishment and operation of the Office of the National Director of Public Prosecutions as well as generally giving such advice and rendering such assistance to the National Director as he may require to exercise the powers, carry out the duties and perform the functions which are conferred, imposed on or assigned to him by the Constitution, the said Act or any other law.
