PROCLAMATION
by the President of the Republic of South Africa
DECLARATION OF THE TORNADO THAT OCCURRED IN THE MAGISTERIAL DISTRICTS OF UMTATA, LiBODE AND NGQELENI TO BE A DISASTER
Under the powers vested in me by section 26 of the Fund-raising Act, 1978 (Act No. 107 of 1978), I hereby declare the tornado that occurred on 15 December 1998 in the Magisterial Districts of Umtata, Libode and Ngqeleni to be a disaster for the purposes of this Act.
