COMMENCEMENT OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE
NATIONAL WATER
ACT, 1998 (ACT No. 36 OF 1998)
In terms of section 164 of the National Water Act, 1998 (Act No. 36 of 1998), read with section 13 (3) of the Interpretation Act, 1957 (Act No. 33 of 1957), I hereby determine 1 January 1999 as the date on which section 33 (1), 33 (2) and 33 (3) of Chapter 4 of the National Water Act, 1998, will come into effect.
