PROCLAMATION

by the President of the Republic of South Africa

COMPETITION ACT, 1998 (ACT No. 89 OF 1998)

In terms of section 84 of the Competition Act, 1998 (Act No. 89 of 1998), I hereby determine November 18 as the date on which sections 1 to 3 (Chapter One); sections 6 and 11, sections 19 to 43 (Chapter Four) and sections 78, 79 and 84 of the said Act shall come into operation.
