COMMENCEMENT OF THE MAGISTRATES AMENDMENT ACT, 1996 (ACT No. 35 OF 1996)

Under section 10 of the Magistrates Amendment Act, 1996 (Act No. 35 of 1996), I hereby fix 1 October 1998 as the date on which the said Act shall come into operation
