COMMENCEMENT OF THE UNIT TRUSTS CONTROL AMENDMENT ACT, 1998

Under section 9 of the Unit Trusts Control Amendment Act, 1998 (Act No. 12 of 1998), I hereby determine—

1. 1 June 1998 as the date on which sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7; and
2. 1 August 1998 as the date on which section 8,

of the said Act shall come into operation.
