REMUNERATION OF JUDGES

Under section 2 (2) (a) of the Judges' Remuneration and Conditions of Employment Act, 1989 (Act No. 27 of 1989) (Bophuthatswana), l hereby amend Schedule I of the above-mentioned Act, as indicated in the Annexure, retrospectively from 1 July 1997, by increasing the rates of salaries payable to judges.
