AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULES 1 AND 2 OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE ACT, 1994 (PROCLAMATION No. 103 OF 1994)

Under the powers vested in me by section 7 (5) of the Public Service Act, 1994 (Proclamation No. 103 of 1994), I hereby amend, in accordance with the recommendation of the Public Service Commission, Schedules 1 and 2 of the said Act by the inclusion of the words "Department of Government Communications and Information System" and "Director-General: Government Communications and Information System" in columns I and II of Schedule 1 after the words "Department of Foreign Affairs" and "Director-General: Foreign Affairs" where they appear in columns I and II respectively, and the deletion of the words "South African Communication Service" and "Head: South African Communication Service" where they appear in columns I and II of Schedule 2 respectively.
