SHIPPING GENERAL AMENDMENT ACT, 1997 (ACT NO. 23 OF 1997)

In terms of section 60 of the Shipping General Amendment Act, 1997 (Act No. 23 of 1997), I hereby determine 1 September 1997 as the date on which the said Act, excluding sections 27(j) of the Afrikaans text and 27(k) of the English text, 28, 43(d), 51, 52, 53, 57 and 58, shall come into operation.
