PROCLAMATION IN TERMS OF SECTION 20 (6) OF THE PROMOTION OF NATIONAL UNITY AND RECONCILIATION ACT, 1995 (ACT NO. 34 OF 1995)
Notice is hereby given that on 20 May 1997, amnesty was granted in terms of section 20 (1) of Act No. 34 of 1995, to-
(a) Maxim Phakamisa (born 1954-11-18) and Two-Boy Jack (born 1954-04-10), in respect of ten counts of attempted murder and two counts of unlawful possession of a fire-arm and ammunition on 22 July 1997 in the District of The Cape;
(b) Patrick Mzingisi Ndlumbini (born 1964-04-15), in respect of the attempted murder of Ndimphiwe Ntekiso and Eric Xeketwana on 13 and 27 October 1991, respectively, in the District of The Cape; and
(c) Thami Robert Ntsobani (born 1973-09-17), in respect of the unlawful possession of a fire-arm and ammunition on 25 September 1992 and breach of the conditions of his correctional supervision order.
