ASSIGNMENT OF LAND USE AND PLANNING REGULATIONS, 1990, UNDER SECTION 235 (8) OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA, 1993: GAUTENG, WESTERN CAPE AND NORTHERN CAPE PROVINCES

Under section 235 (8) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1993 (Act No. 200 of 1993), I hereby -

1. assign the administration of the Land Use and Planning Regulations, 1990 (Government Notice No. R. 1888 of 1990), to a competent authority within the jurisdiction of each of the governments of the Provinces of Gauteng, the Western Cape and the Northern Cape designated by the Premier of the province concerned; and
2. determine that the said regulations are assigned in so far as they are applicable in, or in a part of the province concerned.
