The Department of Foreign Affairs has been advised that the funeral of South Africa's High Commissioner to Lesotho, Japhet Ndlovu, will be held on Saturday, 26th October 2002 at Ezimuweni, KwaMahleka (Umbumbulu District) in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal.
A Memorial Service will be hosted by the Government of Lesotho before the remains of Ambassador Ndlovu will be repatriated to South Africa for burial.
The Department of Foreign Affairs will also host a Memorial Service for Ambassador Ndlovu on Monday, 21 October 2002 at the Methodist Church, corner of Visagie and Andries Streets in Pretoria. The Service will run from 14:00-15:30.
Tributes to the late Ambassador will be paid by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aziz Pahad and Kingsley Mamabolo, Deputy Director-General of the Africa Branch.
