Spin Media (Pty) Ltd has been appointed as Government’s public relations advisor to the Telkom IPO. The Department of Public Enterprises, representing Government, together with the Joint Global Co-ordinators for the IPO, Deutsche Bank and JP Morgan, selected Spin Media after an exhaustive review of firms that responded to the tender, issued publicly on 30 August 2002.
The principals of Spin, Faizal Dawjee, Gugu Msibi, and Chris Vick, each have strong backgrounds in journalism and as Government communicators The company will be integral throughout the Telkom IPO process.
